metals

Works in cast metal: another path for exploration of rich tactility, organic form, and artistic collaboration. Handling hot metal in quantity is by necessity a team sport; foundry work is inherently communal and at its best is rich with camaraderie and knowledge exchange. These are works made at Carnegie Mellon University, the Johnson Atelier in Trenton, New Jersey, and the Crucible in Berkeley, California from 1996-2006.
