invisible infrastructure (ghost dumpster) is a full-scale illuminated inflatable fabric replica of a standard 4-yard dumpster. The ghost dumpster is an unvanishing of one of the many urban artifacts that sink below our conscious notice due to their ubiquity, functionality, and clunky aesthetics.

invisible infrastructure (ghost cones) is the second piece in this series. These cones are luminaria for an urban street fair: ghost cones was installed in the middle of South First Street for the AbsoluteZER0 event at the 2010 01SJ Biennial in San José, California, September 2010. The cones are constructed of Tyvek bonded polyethylene fabric and are individually self-inflated.
